Friends of Miami Animals Funds Mobile Veterinary Clinic

The Mobile Wellness Vehicle is a traveling Veterinary Clinic. It provides free medical services to owners of pets in low income communities in Dade County. This truck was donated by Friends of Miami Animals Foundation, FoMA to Miami Dade Animal Services along with a $500,000 grant for the first year operations of the truck.  Miami Dade Animal Services will operate this Mobile Wellness Vehicle for a minimum of three years. 

The Mobile Wellness Vehicle will move to various neighborhoods in need of veterinary services. It will provide vaccines, routine medical check ups, and other necessary veterinary services. It will also provide education to pet owners about caring for their pet's needs and provide free Spay/Neuter vouchers to be utilized in other participating veterinary facilities.
